The enchanting beaches

The beaches of the prefecture of Preveza extend to a length of 60 km. Coves, peninsulas, bays, sandy beaches and rocks alternate harmoniously. Pine forests that reach to the hospitable beaches, compose an idyllic image. Some of them are Vrachos, Loutsa, Ammoudia, Valtos, Monolithi, Mytikas, Kyani Akti, Kryoneri, Artolithia, Kastrosykia, Kanali, Lygia etc.

• Kyani Akti Beach: Kyani Akti beach is located at the entrance of Amvrakikos gulf, in front of Agios Georgios Castle, just 200m. from the center of Preveza. It is the main beach of the city and is suitable for children due to the shallow and calm waters.
• Psathaki Beach: This beach is located in the homonymous settlement of Psathaki, just 3 km. from the center of Preveza. A special feature of this beach is its warm waters that wet the roots of eucalyptus.
• Alonaki Beach: Alonaki beach, a shore with golden sand, is located near the village of Valanidorrachi, in a small cove. It is a cosmopolitan beach despite its secluded location and due to the pines that surround it gives the visitor an exotic feeling. Around the sandy beach there is a forest which is a protected place.
• Also of remarkable interest are the beautiful beaches of Agioi Apostoloi, Kalamitsi and Monolithi.
